Braden Koksal is a classically trained composer and musician from Canada whose solo and collaborative works dive into unique sound design with analog synthesizers, recordings of various instruments, and implementing unhinged recording techniques. He has scored multiple film and media productions with the goal of creating original music that inhabits the world of a film and enhances the emotions of its story.
Braden studied orchestration and composition for film, television, and video games at Berklee College of Music’s online faculty, Berklee Online. There he learned classical orchestration and scoring for film and television under the program’s lead instructor. During his studies, he was inspired to create his own unique approach to scoring films, without the use of orchestral samples at the forefront. This led him to lean into a more “out of the box” approach to creating music.
